| Rockin Out To: Elimidate
I should be in bed.... but whatever.
I went to Chicago today, and it was really nice. I hung out by myself and walked around the city while Jenn Topic and Stephanie went to the Faint show. As if I wasn't enjoying the city enough, I ran into Justin, and in case you forgot... he rips and is certainly one of the nicest people I know.
But what was the BEST part of the evening??? Buying the new Nick Cave album (which has the coooooooolest packaging ever)!!!

Man if you are cool... (and 21) you should go to our rock shows...
October 8 (next Friday) at 9:30 at JJ Kelly's in Lansing
and
October 29 at Sylvie's in Chicago...
well, i would post more and tell you the meaning to life, how to win
big at blackjack, and all my deepest darkest secrets... but the coffee
shop is closing so you are just out of luck

Man, it seems like I am a pretty unpopular guy these days.
I guess I deserve it. | | |
| Rockin Out To: Placebo (again)
So... I got the greatest compliment in the ENTIRE WORLD yesterday...
The setting: Near the belt buckles at The Alley in Chicago The Cast: Gabe (me) and John (John Stockman of Blue Havana/Giant ear holes fame)
John: (from the piercing area): Hey by chance is your name Gabe? Gabe: Why yes it is... Hi John, how are you? (as I walk to see him) John: I am really good, man... Hey, Doug gave me 2 songs that you recorded? Gabe: Oh yeah? What did you think? John: Man it was really good, the vocals sound a lot like TSOL
Then there was lots more blah blah blahing, and what not but there ya go... NEED ME TO REPEAT IT? John: Man it was really good, the vocals sound a lot like TSOL
For those of you who don't know TSOL is my favoritest band on the planet and their singer is one of my heroes.
Whether it is true or not... boy was that nice to hear.
